Sail from Labuan Bajo
You board your phinisi in Labuan Bajo and cruise Komodo National Park with our crew, everything sorted.
Komodo all inclusive means one transparent package price that covers your private phinisi yacht, cabins, full-board meals, guided diving or snorkelling, tenders and crew, usually starting and ending in Labuan Bajo. At Komodo All Inclusive, we design and operate these packages on our own luxury wooden phinisi, with national park fees and permits usually quoted separately for clarity.
Komodo All Inclusive: How Our Packages Work
Komodo All Inclusive is the specialist all-inclusive arm of Komodo Luxury in Labuan Bajo. We design complete Komodo trips on our owned liveaboard fleet so you know, before you board, exactly what is bundled into one price and what remains separate.
All trips operate inside and around Komodo National Park, established in 1980 and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991, at the heart of the Coral Triangle. Conditions, regulations and fees in the park change; we keep your package current and transparent.
Operated by Komodo Luxury
All packages are operated by Komodo Luxury, a licensed Indonesian liveaboard operator based in Denpasar and Labuan Bajo (KBLI 79120, part of Juara Holding Group Limited). We own and operate a fleet of luxury wooden phinisi yachts for private charter and shared cruises in Flores and Komodo.
Komodo Luxury has been organizing Komodo trips since 2015 and has consistently received Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025, based on verified guest reviews. We do not publish individual review scores here; instead we focus on building packages that match expectations to real conditions and value.
Our All-Inclusive Komodo Fleet
For Komodo All Inclusive packages we use our own traditional wooden phinisi yachts, modernized for comfort and safety:
- Komodo Signature – Luxury phinisi with ensuite cabins, indoor and outdoor lounges, dedicated dive deck, and custom tenders. Ideal for couples, families and small groups who want more comfort and privacy.
- Komodo Prestige – Luxury phinisi set up for private charter and small-group cruises, with spacious open decks and comfortable cabins. Suitable for groups who want flexible itineraries and tailored service.
We do not broker random third-party boats for all-inclusive packages. You sail on Komodo Luxury’s own vessels, with our own cruise director, captain, dive guides and crew.
What “All Inclusive” Means with Us
Every komodo all inclusive tour we design follows the same value logic: bundle everything that is core to being on board, and keep external fees clearly separated.
- Included in your all-inclusive Komodo package
-
- Private use of Komodo Signature or Komodo Prestige (or cabin on a scheduled departure, if shared cruise).
- Cabin accommodation with air conditioning and private or shared bathrooms depending on vessel and cabin type.
- Full-board meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinking water, tea and coffee.
- Certified dive guides and/or snorkel guides (ratio based on group size and experience).
- Use of tenders (dinghies) for beach landings, snorkelling and dive entries.
- Crew: captain, deck crew, chef, steward(ess), engineer, and cruise director or trip leader.
- Standard dive logistics: tanks, weights, belts, and compressor use for certified divers.
- Basic snorkelling use: masks, snorkels and fins, subject to sizes and availability.
- Drinking water, hot drinks and most non-alcoholic refreshments on board.
- Fuel allowance based on the agreed itinerary inside Komodo National Park and around Labuan Bajo.
- Airport or hotel–harbour return transfers in Labuan Bajo (timing by agreement).
- Usually quoted separately (not in the “all inclusive” price)
-
- Komodo National Park entry, trekking and diving fees (paid per person per day; regulations and amounts change frequently).
- Ranger fees for Komodo dragon treks (mandatory for landings on Komodo and Rinca).
- Harbour taxes and local government tourism levies where applicable.
- Alcoholic beverages and premium soft drinks, unless explicitly added to your quote.
- Optional equipment rental (BCD, regulator, dive computer, wetsuit, underwater camera).
- Optional courses (discover diving, Open Water, Advanced, specialty courses).
- Travel insurance and dive insurance (strongly recommended).
- Flights to and from Labuan Bajo (Komodo Airport – LBJ).
- Tips for crew and guides (optional, at your discretion).
Each quote you receive lists inclusions and exclusions line by line so you can compare against organizing a trip piece by piece.
Build Your Komodo All Inclusive Package
Most guests arrive with a few simple questions: How many days do we need? How many dives are realistic? Is this itinerary suitable for my family or group? To answer that quickly, Komodo All Inclusive is built as an interactive planning page.
Step 1 – Choose Your Duration
Durations are flexible, but all-inclusive liveaboard experiences usually fall into a few proven patterns:
- 2 days / 1 night – A compact cruise for guests with limited time. Typical focus: one Komodo dragon trek (usually Rinca or Komodo, depending on conditions), snorkelling at a coral reef, and a sunset viewpoint. Limited time for serious diving.
- 3 days / 2 nights – The most popular Labuan Bajo all inclusive time frame. Enough for dragons, one or two top snorkelling or dive sites (for example around central Komodo), and a beach stop such as a pink sand beach, subject to conditions.
- 4–5 days – Our recommended minimum for dive-focused groups. With 4–5 days you can usually include a mix of northern, central and (seasonally) southern sites, aligning with tides, currents and the group’s certification level.
- 6–8+ days – Expedition-style itineraries, often private charters on Komodo Signature or Komodo Prestige. These allow multiple days of diving in both the north and south, more remote bays, and rest days or half-days for non-diving activities.
The “right” duration depends on your priorities and the experience level of your divers. Strong currents, long crossings and surface intervals shape each day; we prefer a realistic plan over a crowded checklist.
Step 2 – Group Size & Cabin Layout
Next, we match the vessel and layout to your group:
- Couples & small families (2–6 guests) – Often best on Komodo Signature with a private cabin allocation and flexible daily schedule. Perfect for celebrating honeymoons, anniversaries or family trips where comfort and privacy matter.
- Medium groups (7–12 guests) – Many of our all inclusive Komodo packages are built for groups of friends, dive clubs or multi-generational families. Cabins can usually be configured as couples + twin bunks or triples for children.
- Larger groups (up to full-boat capacity) – For corporate retreats, social groups or camera clubs, we charter an entire vessel and balance the dive plan between experienced divers and casual snorkellers.
Cabin counts and bedding vary by vessel and season. In your quote we will confirm the maximum registered guest capacity for Komodo Signature or Komodo Prestige on your dates, together with recommended numbers for comfort rather than just legal maximums.
Step 3 – Who is Diving?
Currents in Komodo National Park are real. Many world-famous sites here are not suitable for beginners, and most itineraries require adjusting to the least experienced diver in the group.
In our package builder we distinguish between:
- Non-divers / snorkellers only
- Beginner divers (recently certified, limited experience in currents)
- Intermediate divers (comfortable in currents, recent dives logged)
- Advanced divers (Advanced Open Water or equivalent, confident with negative entries, downcurrents and drift dives)
We use this to propose a realistic combination of:
- Easy coral gardens and shallow walls for snorkelling.
- Sites with mild to moderate currents during slack or neap tides for newer divers.
- Current-heavy sites such as Batu Bolong or Castle Rock only when the group experience and conditions align.
Komodo is famous for currents that can change quickly. Dive plans are always finalised by the cruise director and dive guides on the day, based on wind, tides and boat traffic.
Step 4 – Package Tier: Standard or Luxury
We build two main tiers for each itinerary:
- Standard All Inclusive – Same safety standards and crew, but a simpler menu, fewer premium snacks and drinks, and more basic equipment rental options. Ideal for guests focused on time in the water and overall value.
- Luxury All Inclusive – Upgraded menus with more varied dishes, enhanced coffee and soft drink selection, plus more flexible daily schedules and service touches. Often used for private charters, special celebrations or longer trips.
Both tiers use the same vessels; the difference is in service level, provisioning and optional extras. The package tier you select helps us propose a price range before we refine it by date and cabin type.

Choose Your Komodo All Inclusive Tour Style
Most itineraries fall into four broad styles. Think of them as starting points; each trip is then adjusted around tides, seasons and your group.
1. Komodo All Inclusive Tour (Highlights Focus)
This style is built for guests who want the essential park highlights in a short time frame, often over 2–3 days.
- Komodo dragon trek on Rinca or Komodo (ranger-led).
- Snorkelling at one or two of the central reefs, selected for easier conditions.
- Beach time at a pink or white-sand beach, subject to weather and crowding.
- Sunset viewpoint trek (for example Padar or another nearby hill, subject to regulations and conditions).
Diving is optional here. Some guests choose 1–2 introductory dives at relatively easy sites; others prefer to keep the trip snorkel-only and focus on landscapes and wildlife on land.
2. Komodo All Inclusive Cruise (Balanced Dive & Explore)
With 3–5 days, we can build an itinerary that balances:
- Daily diving or snorkelling at a mix of central and northern sites.
- One Komodo dragon trek.
- Sunrise or sunset hikes, quiet bays and sandbars.
- Optional night dives (for certified divers with adequate experience).
Here we start to use the full strengths of a liveaboard: waking up already anchored near a dive site, adjusting the order of activities to avoid crowds and currents, and adding night or dawn dives where appropriate.
3. Luxury Dive Package (Advanced Dive-Centric)
For experienced divers, we build multi-day, multi-site dive circuits focused on variety, currents and seasonal marine life, typically 4–7 days.
Examples of sites often considered for advanced divers (always condition-dependent):
- Northern seamounts such as Castle Rock and Crystal Rock, known for pelagic life and strong currents.
- Current-swept channels such as Shotgun, subject to tide timing and experience of the group.
- Central pinnacles including sites like Batu Bolong, dived only under very specific tidal windows with limited groups due to strong and unpredictable currents.
- Manta aggregation areas in north or south Komodo, depending on season and conditions.
Many of these dives are classified as advanced and require certification and recent experience in currents. We do not guarantee access to any specific site; your safety and actual conditions on the day come first.
4. Family & Friends All Inclusive (Soft Adventure)
Some groups travel with children, non-swimmers or older family members who are not interested in strong-current diving. We tailor these itineraries for safety and comfort:
- Shallower snorkel sites, sheltered bays and calm anchorages.
- Shorter hikes, sandbar picnics and beach time.
- Optional “try dives” in easier conditions for adults with medical clearance.
- Adjusted meal times and simple kid-friendly dishes on request.
This style of labuan bajo all inclusive trip is about shared experiences: seeing dragons, swimming with turtles or reef fish in calm water, and watching the sky from the deck at night, rather than chasing the most challenging current dives.
What’s Included vs Separate: Transparent Value
We build each quote so you can compare an all inclusive Komodo cruise with a do-it-yourself plan of day boats, hotels and separate dive bookings.
| Item | All Inclusive Package | DIY (Typical Scenario) |
|---|---|---|
| Accommodation | Cabin aboard a luxury phinisi, private bathroom on most cabins, same bed every night. | Hotel in Labuan Bajo; check-in/out, transfers daily to harbour. |
| Meals | Full board on board, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks included in package. | Breakfast at hotel, lunch on different boats or warungs, dinners in town. |
| Dive / Snorkel Logistics | Guides, tanks, weights and tenders included. Schedules optimized for your group. | Different operators daily; mixed groups, varied standards and departure times. |
| National Park Fees | Quoted separately once itinerary and activities are clear; we handle permits and paperwork. | Paid at harbour or via operators individually; keep track of receipts and rules yourself. |
| Itinerary Control | Private charter or semi-private design; pace and sites aligned with your group and conditions. | Shared group schedules; limited control over timing and crowding at sites. |
| Overall Cost Visibility | One main package price + clearly stated separate fees. | Multiple operators, separate bills; total often realized only after the trip. |
We cannot promise that an all inclusive package is always “cheaper” in raw numbers than the absolute lowest-budget DIY route. What we aim for is value-transparent, stress-reducing travel: one primary price, known variables, and a consistent standard from start to finish.
Indicative Price Ranges (Last Verified June 2026)
Liveaboard pricing in Komodo varies with vessel, season, cabin type, duration and group size. The following ranges are indicative only, based on recent quotes as of June 2026. For an exact price we will prepare a custom quote.
- 2D1N Komodo All Inclusive Tour (private charter) – Often from the mid to high three-figure USD per person range for larger groups, up to mid four-figure USD per person range for couples using a whole boat, excluding park fees.
- 3D2N Balanced Cruise – Commonly falls between the high three-figure and mid four-figure USD per person range, depending on cabin, season and group size, excluding park fees and optional gear rental.
- 4–5D Dive-Focused Packages – Expect in the four-figure USD per person range, varying with how many dives per day, group composition and boat selection, plus separate park and permit fees.
- 6–8D Luxury Charters – Typically in the mid to high four-figure USD per person range for small private groups who charter Komodo Signature or Komodo Prestige, with total charter cost distributed across guests.
These numbers are not fixed rates and are subject to change. Komodo National Park fees are regulated by government authorities and can be adjusted with limited notice. We always:
- Confirm current indicative fee structures before booking.
- State in your quote which fees are estimated and which must be paid on site.
- Update you if authorities change tariff structures before your trip.
For a tailored estimate for your dates, vessel preference and group, reach us directly on WhatsApp at +62 811-3823-875 or via plan your trip.
Komodo Dive Sites, Seasons & Currents
Komodo National Park lies in a mixing zone between the Indian Ocean and the Flores Sea, which generates strong tidal flows and frequent current shifts. That’s why divers travel here – and why we prioritize honest expectations and safety.
Regional Zones in Komodo
Conceptually, we plan trips around three broad zones, always adjusted for conditions and regulations:
- North Komodo – Generally warmer, clearer water much of the year, with many of the park’s most current-intensive sites. Often better for pelagic encounters such as schooling fish, occasional sharks and, in some seasons, mantas. Many of these dives are advanced.
- Central Komodo – A mix of sloping reefs, pinnacles and channels. Here we balance easier snorkel reefs with selected dive sites that can be dived in milder conditions at certain tides.
- South Komodo – Typically cooler, more nutrient-rich waters at certain times of year. Known for healthy soft corals and, seasonally, manta cleaning stations. Sea and wind conditions can be rougher at times; not all trips reach this area.
We never guarantee visiting a particular site such as Batu Bolong, Castle Rock or any named manta location. On each trip, the captain and cruise director assess tides, wind, swell, boat traffic and your group’s capability before confirming the daily schedule.
Seasons & Marine Life
Komodo is open year-round, but conditions vary:
- Dry season (approximately April–November) – Often better surface visibility and generally calmer seas in many parts of the park, especially in the north. This is also the busiest period for tourism.
- Transition months – Periods when currents and wind directions change and conditions can shift quickly; we build more flexible itineraries here.
- Rainier months (approximately December–March) – Some operators reduce schedules; certain southern areas can offer different marine life highlights when accessible. Weather can impact crossings and visibility.
Marine life such as manta rays, sharks or even seasonal hammerhead sightings are wild and unpredictable. Historical patterns can guide us, but we never guarantee any specific animal encounter on an all inclusive Komodo package.
Dive Experience & Safety
We require all divers to provide certification proof and recent dive history before designing a current-intensive itinerary. In some cases we may suggest:
- Refresher dives in calmer water on day one.
- Splitting the group by experience onto different tenders or sites.
- Limiting exposure to advanced sites on trips with many beginners.
Some sites are categorised as advanced-only by our team and are not offered to divers without sufficient experience, even if they hold advanced cards on paper. Safety and realistic enjoyment take priority over ticking a list of site names.
From Labuan Bajo: Logistics & Access
Starting and Ending in Labuan Bajo
All our komodo all inclusive tours start and finish in Labuan Bajo, the main gateway town on Flores for visiting Komodo National Park.
- We arrange harbour transfers from your Labuan Bajo hotel or from Komodo Airport on the start day, within agreed time windows.
- Check-in times are coordinated with tide windows and harbour regulations; shared departures often leave in the morning or early afternoon.
- At the end of your cruise, we return you to the harbour in time for onward flights where possible, but we strongly recommend avoiding tight same-day connections.
Flight schedules, baggage rules and airline policies are outside our control. We can advise based on recent patterns but always encourage conservative buffer times, especially for international connections.
Permits & Park Regulations
Komodo National Park is managed by Indonesian authorities with evolving rules for:
- Entry fees for domestic and international visitors.
- Dive, snorkel and trekking permits.
- Mandatory ranger accompaniment on dragon treks.
- Zoning regulations for mooring, anchoring and landings.
We stay updated on current regulations for our operations and incorporate that into your plan. Your final documents will summarise the fee structures relevant at booking time and flag any components expected to be paid on site in cash or card. We always recommend bringing some cash Indonesian rupiah for incidental expenses in and around the park.

FAQs: Komodo All Inclusive Packages
What does “all inclusive” actually include on a Komodo trip?
On our Komodo All Inclusive packages, “all inclusive” covers the private or shared use of our phinisi liveaboard, cabin accommodation, full-board meals, non-alcoholic drinks as specified, crew and guides, use of tenders, and standard dive or snorkel logistics such as tanks and weights for certified divers. It does not automatically include Komodo National Park entry and activity fees, ranger fees, alcoholic drinks, optional equipment rental, courses, flights or insurance; these are listed separately in your quote.
Are Komodo National Park fees included in the package price?
Usually they are quoted separately. Komodo National Park fees, trekking permits, dive and snorkel surcharges, ranger fees and related local levies are set by authorities and can change. To stay transparent, we estimate these based on your planned activities and note them separately in your documents, indicating which must be paid on site. We confirm the latest known structures at booking, but final amounts are set by the government, not by us.
How many days do I need for a Komodo all inclusive package?
For a highlights-focused trip including dragons and some snorkelling, 2–3 days can work. For a balanced experience with multiple dives, snorkelling, dragons and time to relax, 3–5 days is recommended. For advanced dive-focused expeditions aiming to explore north, central and (seasonally) south Komodo, 4–7 days or more gives a more complete experience. The “right” number of days depends on your group’s priorities, pace and dive experience.
Is Komodo suitable for beginner divers or children?
Parts of Komodo are suitable with the right planning, but many famous sites have strong currents and are not appropriate for beginners or young children. We design itineraries around your least experienced person, choosing calmer snorkel reefs, sheltered bays and easier dive sites when needed. For families and new divers, we often recommend a softer itinerary with limited or carefully chosen dives and more focus on snorkelling, beaches and land activities.
How do I start planning and get a price for my dates?
Share your preferred dates, group size and experience level via WhatsApp at +62 811-3823-875, email sales@komodoluxury.com, or our plan your trip page. We will respond with a proposed itinerary, vessel option, and an indicative price range (last verified June 2026), along with separate estimates for Komodo National Park and related fees, so you can see the full picture before you decide.
